Pat Tanner III wrote under several pseudonyms in the 1950s, most famously Patrick Dennis, the writer as well as narrator of Auntie Mame.
After attempting to come to terms with his bi-sexuality, Pat leaves his wife. As the two consider reconciliation, Pat surprises her with an in person visit to discuss their relationship and by extension sexuality and feminism.
